I have to admit that Manchester was a sweet trip : my friend Button in
fact led me to discover a couple of fantastic tearoom !We arrived at the Northern Quarter that is becoming famous for these spots and we sling inside. It
was indeed a very damp and wet afternoon, soaked by showers , not real
rain , drizzle the quintessential English thin and almost imperceptible ,
as if sprayed from above , then and there does not even seem to get wet then , as you enter the warmth understand that you are sopping.
Sugar Junction welcomes you to the wonderful aroma of wood of its interior
design , which gives you the impression of being in a mountain chalet or
a cottage in the English countryside (or in my den in the trees).I
was a bit tired and sleepy along for the ride so Button decided to
take some refreshment with a delicious Afternoon Tea (yes, the famous
one of which I always speak) .Among
sandwiches, scones with candied fruit, cream butter, jams, cakes and
macarons we warmed and filled with chatter as we did for so long and the
time flew by without us even noticing .
